Citysense – GPS For Your Social Life
For those lazy or inexperienced socialites, Sense Networks has the solution to a problem you never knew you had. Citysense brings urban mapping to your cell phone as a new mobile application for social navigation. In real-time, their system “senses” activity of other mobile users and displays them on a heat map.

So the next time you find yourself thinking, “where is everyone now?” just turn on your iphone, let your fingers dance on the touch screen, and follow the red pixel road.
Also a mashup with Google and Yelp, you are provided the reviews and directions of local eating and drinking establishments within each spot. Now, not only can you dine in the company of multiple strangers, but you can make sure those serving your libations are approved by the masses. On the other hand, if socializing is not your thing, then you could use this to find bars away from all the activity. Although, perhaps there is a reason those bars are empty. To each his own.
However, much in the vain of dating via web 2.0, Sense Network is already preparing to answer your next question…
“Where is everyone like me right now?”
Currently only available in San Francisco, Citysense will soon be available in a major metropolitan area near you.
