New York City “My Daily Commute”

New York City….. from the moment i turn on to the George Washington bridge already the hairs stand up on the back of my head, a sudden rush comes over me and its “game time”… already i start to notice that drivers seem alil less willing to let you through as tension begins to thicken to the point you could almost taste it…. now the first exit ramps winding on a downward spiral like i one of those gum ball machines to the west side highway… traffic has picked up into a ballaie of cars weaving in and out of one another, many cars seem as if they have gotten the green light and are barreling away as fast as they can in the quarter mile… now i find myself at the 79th street exit just a about 18 blocks from campus almost there… suddenly i find myself with two hands on the wheel gripping tight legs have awaken ready for instant action “its them or me” in and all out slug feast the “demolition durby ” final as i turn of on to 61st street i have made it to my garage as i pull up and i start to relax and realize people in cars behind running up to the ticket man like they have all more important things to do and their time must be more value as i leap from my car to hold my own…. yes i got my ticket i have made it to school and now its time to start this dance all over again only on foot……..
