About
I am Matthew Lewis, live in New York City, and am practicing and teaching in the field of architecture and urbanism. This blog began in February in 2008 as a means to explore the urban condition, architecture, and economics as they relate to each other, current events, and my own speculation. However, as I began teaching in the fall of 2008, I had to put this project on hold.
Now, this blog will serve as a platform for discussion among my students of urban design. We welcome your contributions and comments if you have any questions or want to support and further this dialogue on urbanism.
Below is a list of selected posts from the first generation of AOU to highlight some of my personal and fan favorite posts. Enjoy.
